Great day for equal rights in same-sex marriage ruling

Gov. Jan Brewer sounded the loudest, most sour note on the subject, issuing a statement that read in part,

"In 2008, Arizona voters approved a state constitutional amendment to define marriage as a union of one man and one woman. Now, with their rulings, the federal courts have again thwarted the will of the people and further eroded the authority of states to regulate and uphold our laws. It is not only disappointing, but also deeply troubling, that unelected federal judges can dictate the laws of individual states, create rights based on their personal policy preferences and supplant the will of the people in an area traditionally left to the states for more than two hundred years."

Actually, courts have been making decisions exactly like this — when a law is unconstitutional — for more than 200 years.

The governor can look it up.

Bottom line: If you oppose raising the minimum wage you’re saying that some people don’t deserve to be able to feed and shelter themselves and you’re trash.

Yet I bet these feminists would have no problem with raising the minimum wage for women only, leaving men unable to feed or shelter themselves. Because feminists are trash.

I honestly think tumblr just makes people confused about their sexuality in a bad way. I was completely straight when i went on this site but i thought lesbians seemed so happy together so i went into some relationship with a girl when i was actually lying to myself that i liked girls because i thought it was cool to be some different sexuality. Now i know for a fact that im straight and i think people on here should just trust their gut on who they like instead of being "special"

Words cannot describe how angry this makes me, because this thought is the basis of most if not all homophobia. Once you believe this, that being gay is a “choice” one can jump from this it is much easier for someone to say; Well that is just a lifestyle choice and they should stop. And in the more malicious side of it since it it is a choice they should go to repairitive therapy to stop them from doing it. Or since they won’t stop we are going to kick them out because I don’t believe this “choice” with such hate that they can make a decision to tell someone that they cared about to leave and never come back. It just boggles My mind.
